Helen qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2016 from the Universities of Coventry and Warwick. She continues to work in the NHS alongside her associate time with Adélie Psychology.

Since qualifying, Helen has worked in child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) and a specialist mental health team for children and young people with autism and/or a learning disability that were at risk of a hospital admission. She currently works in a specialist community service for young people and adults with a learning disability, some of whom also have autism.

Helen is trained and experienced in using a variety of evidence-based interventions. The main therapies Helen draws upon are Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Catherine and Helen first worked together in 2018 in the NHS in Coventry and Warwickshire.


Helen is passionate about her work with young people and families and is experienced in working with a range of presenting needs. Using a creative and playful approach that draws upon a variety of different therapeutic models Helen values building strong therapeutic relationships, ensuring a safe base for children, young people and their families to explore their difficulties and find ways to increase their emotional wellbeing.
