Experience
Lydia has worked in the NHS for 11 years; she continues to work in the NHS alongside her associate time with Adélie Psychology in an Autism Assessment and Intervention Clinical Psychology Service. Lydia has experience of working with children, young people and families in a variety of settings and specialisms including in Autism Assessment and Intervention and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) for children with learning disabilities.
Catherine and Lydia first worked together in 2018 in the NHS in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Approach
Lydia is passionate about working with young people and their families and has experience of a range of presenting needs. Lydia values engaging children, young people and their families and helping them to feel comfortable so that they can get the most out of their sessions. Lydia feels that it is important to build a good therapeutic relationship through being creative and using children and young people’s interests.
Lydia is extremely experienced in conducting autism assessments and providing psychoeducation and therapy around understanding autism and emotional regulation.
